Located on the Alnmouth harbour, the Ferryman's Hut is the smallest museum in Northumberland. It was once used as a shelter and a place to store equipment by Alnmouth ferryman who would row passengers across the River. Today, it could be the smallest heritage museum in the country. The museum is free and looked after by a local resident, Donald, who has opened and locked the hut every day for the past 9 years.
The Schooner Inn was a coaching inn first built in the 1600s that later became popular with smugglers due to the secret underground tunnels leading from the cellar to Alnmouth's port. Today, it is a grade II listed hotel which has reported 60 ghosts haunting its corridors. The rich history of the Schooner Inn has tales of suicides and murders and is a popular attraction for those interested in the paranormal.

Located on Church Hill in Alnmouth, St Cuthbert's cross is said to be where St Cuthbert agreed to become Bishop of Lindisfarne 685AD. Although little is known about the cross, the cross offers stunning views of Alnmouth and is a popular tourist attraction. To access the cross, find the small grass verge at a junction on the road south of Alnmouth, cross the road onto the cycle path (turning left and heading towards Alnmouth) to find the finger post sign pointing towards the coast. Follow the marked track to reach the cross.
