How to remove rust stains from concrete
Rust stains on concrete look unsightly but can be easily removed with a few household ingredients.
Pour a strong natural acid on the rust stain (such as a cup of white vinegar or the juice of one lemon) onto the stain and leave to sit for 20 minutes.
Scrub in circular motions with a damp cloth to lift the acid and leave it to naturally dry.
Repeat until the rust stain has fully lifted.
Dirt stains are common on concrete and often occur as a result of dirt and leaves being left in an area for a long time
Mix washing up liquid in a bucket of warm water until bubbles start to form. Use a sponge to apply the mixture to the stain and leave to sit for 15 minutes.
Scrub with hot water and a soft brush until the stain is lifted.
Rinse with cool water and repeat if necessary.
