How to make your office smell good
Natural reed diffuser
Although diffusers are commonly used in the home and workplace, many diffusers contain harsh chemicals which can do more harm than good. Consider making your own simple reed diffuser to make your office smell great again.
Simply add one teaspoon of essential oil (any scent) to a small glass containe and top it up with baby oil. Use a diffuser stick to stir the mixture well before leaving on your worktop to slowly diffuse a pleasant, toxic-free smell.
Air Circulation
Whether you have an air conditioning system or windows, we recommend encouraging air flow around the property throughout the day. This will help move any stagnant air around and filter bad smells out of rooms.
Top tip: Aim to replace your air conditioner’s filters every 6 months to keep the filters as clear as possible. This will also prevent the build-up of dust and grime which can make it difficult for basic air flow.
Plants
Many indoor plants have air cleaning qualities which can help to purify surrounding air and make your office smell fresh. Investing in some small indoor plants can make the working environment more pleasant as well as removing and preventing bad odours.
The peace lily plant is a perfect addition to any office as it helps to filter out harmful toxins from the air such as benzene and formaldehyde. The bold flowers also give off moisture that can boost the humidity of a room and tackle smells caused by stale air.
Top tip: Add a little baking soda into the bottom of bins to soak up any liquid and bad smells.
Airburst is the ultimate disinfectant system for your office. It also effectively removes dust and pollen from the air while disinfecting surrounding surfaces at the touch of a button.
