Green Christmas Decorations
Dried Orange Garland
Dried orange garlands are one of the most green Christmas decorations that you can make.
This effective idea brings colour into the room as well as smelling incredible!
What you’ll need:
-Oranges
-Paper towels
-Oven
-Cooling rack
-Knitting needle
-Twine/string
Firstly, slice your oranges into ¼ inch thickness. Try to keep the thickness the same for each slice to allow them to dry equally.
Gently apply paper towels to the slices to remove as much moisture as possible. Be careful not to break the flesh of the fruit!
Place the oranges into the oven on low heat and leave for two hours, turning them over halfway through.
Leave the slices out for a few days to thoroughly dry. Then, take the knitting needle and gently pull your yarn or string through the centre of the oranges, taking care not to break them.
Hang your orange garland with pride! Prepare materials for crafting your next green Christmas decorations…
Rosemary Wreath Decoration
These green Christmas decorations will make your whole office smell incredible! Rosemary wreaths are a cheap, simple way of bringing some festivities into the office.
What you’ll need:
-Rosemary branches
-Thin wire (floral wire works perfectly)
-String
-Scissors
Firstly, choose how big you would like your wreaths to be. You could opt for one large wreath, or several small wreaths in the form of a garland.
Secure the rosemary branches into a circle using floral wire.
Loosely wrap some twine or string around the branches to neaten the edges.
Hang up your green Christmas decorations for all to see!
