What is disinfectant fogging?
Fogging is a term used to describe using a machine to generate a fine mist across hard and soft surfaces.
Disinfectant fogging involves using a disinfectant in the mist to allow small particles of disinfectant to effectively cover a range of surfaces, including porous surfaces such as carpets and soft furnishings.
How effective is disinfectant fogging?
The effectiveness of disinfectant fogging services relies on the machinery and disinfectant product used.
At MMCS Commercial Cleaning, our chosen disinfectant is a type of QAT (quaternary ammonium compounds). This means that it provides longer-lasting protection of surfaces, as the disinfectant remains active for up to 24 hours.
Our disinfectant product has passed
EN14476 Standard for Coronavirus. This enables claims for efficacy to be made against all enveloped viruses, including all coronaviruses and SARS-Cov-2.
Once applied onto a surface, the disinfectant product effectively kills enveloped viruses such as coronaviruses and HIV across surfaces.
Unlike harsh disinfectants such as bleach, our product can also be used to disinfect soft surfaces (this can include pillows, curtains and carpets) without causing any discolouration or damage.
What are other options for disinfectant fogging?
MMCS Commercial Cleaning has developed
airburst; the ultimate disinfection system for your property.
The small machines are operated manually via button, app or Alexa to allow for continued disinfection across rooms. This method of disinfectant fogging also kills 99.9999% of bacteria spores and viruses in the air.
Airburst uses a hypochlorous acid based disinfectant. This disinfectant is naturally produced in the bodies of mammals to fight off viruses and bacteria.
The weak acid is also a tried and tested medical and food grade disinfectant. Safe for people, pets and the planet,
