Office Plants
Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is at the top of the list for our favourite office plants because it doesn’t require a lot of watering or sunlight and also takes up a small amount of space.
Aloe Vera
are succulents which means that they store water in their leaves. This requires minimal watering which can be done when the top layer of compost begins to dry out.
This office plant also has a range of healing benefits, the plant leaves have the ability to clean air while the stems can be cut and used to heal burns on the skin.
Peace Lily
If you have a little more room in your workspace, we recommend investing in the peace lily office plants due to their range of air cleaning properties.
Place the plants in a place where they will receive bright, indirect light throughout the day. When watering, ensure that the soil is consistently moist but avoid overwatering it and making it soggy.
The peace lily helps to eliminate mould spores in the air, reducing allergic reactions triggered by mould. It also works to remove acetone vapours and pollutants from the room, making it easier for you to breathe in clean air whilst working.
Snake Plant
Snake plants make for great office plants because it only needs to be watered fortnightly and moderates the air flow in a room.
It is also one of the few plants that can convert CO2 into oxygen at night, making it the perfect addition to your workspace all year round.
This simple plant is easy to care for, visually appealing to look at and helps to keep you and your breathing healthy.
Philodendron Green
The philodendron green is another favourite amongst office plants due to its ability to adapt to almost any setting. So if your workplace doesn’t receive much sunlight, this plant is for you!
These office plants require minimum maintenance and filters airborne toxins such as such as formaldehyde and benzene from the atmosphere.
Avoid draughts and direct sunlight to see rapid growth from this leafy office plant.
