Embleton Bay
Embleton Bay is a wide stretch of coast with a stunning backdrop of Dunstanburgh Castle. Take in the mesmerising scenery throughout the year and enjoy kite flying or surfing on warmer days. There are also many rock pools to explore when the tide is low.
There are small wooden bungalows that resemble beach huts nesting in the sand dunes behind the beach. Initially constructed in the 1930s by golfers, they are now owned by the National Trust and offer spectacular views of the beach.
Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Course
Located in Embleton, Dunstanburgh Golf Course is a friendly and relaxed golf club for all abilities to enjoy. Designed by Open Championship winner James Braid, the 18 hole lay out has testing sea winds with the backdrop of Northumberland scenery.

Low Newton Square
Head to the Low Newton Square for a picturesque wander with historic cottages dotted around the village green. Amongst the cottages, enjoy local food and a beer with restaurants and pubs, one of which was established in the 1700s.
