Plessey Woods Country Park has over 100 acres of woodland and riverside for families to enjoy. The riverside walk is a great way to spot otters and kingfishers while the range of paths are popular for cyclists and walkers. The visitor centre also has an accessible cafe for visitors to enjoy.

Found on the Northumberland coastline, Druridge Bay Country Park is a large park home to a host of wildlife. The park has a lake and a woodland as well as a visitor centre. The bay itself has seven miles of sand between Amble and Cresswell while the park hosts activities such as water sports, birdwatching, orienteering and cycling, as well as paths for walking. The cafe and gift shop is open most weekends and during school holidays.

With over 3000 acres to explore within a walled enclosure, Hulne Park is a large estate with forestry and a farm. Once used for hunting by the Percy family, the park is the only remaining park that once surrounded Alnwick Castle. The park also has a Tower, Abbey and a Priory that visitors can explore. As residents still live in the Park, the opening times for public access are between 11am and 4pm every day.
